Hdb Launches Close 7000 New Flats June 2024 Bto Sales Launch

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has recently announced the launch of a new batch of 6,938 flats for sale in the June 2024 Build-To-Order (BTO) sales exercise. These new flats will be available in eight different projects spread across six HDB towns. Among these projects, two of them, located in Queenstown and Kallang/Whampoa, are part of the Prime Location Public Housing (PLH) Scheme.

The PLH Scheme is a special initiative introduced by HDB in 2017 to offer new flats in prime locations at a higher price, catering to homebuyers who are willing to pay a premium for such desirable locations. This scheme aims to provide more housing options for those who are looking for a home in these popular areas.

The 6,938 flats that are up for sale in this BTO exercise include 3,724 units of 2-room Flexi flats, 1,345 units of 3-room flats, 1,259 units of 4-room flats, and 610 units of 5-room flats. These flats are spread out across various estates, including Choa Chu Kang, Pasir Ris, Tampines, Tengah, Toa Payoh, and Tengah.

The new flats are designed to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of potential homebuyers. They will feature a wide range of layouts and unit types, from compact 2-room Flexi units to spacious 5-room flats. This BTO exercise also includes flats under the Studio Apartment (SA) and 3Gen (3-room) categories, providing housing options for singles and multi-generation families.
