The highly anticipated reopening of Grand Hyatt Singapore, located in the heart of the Orchard Road area, is finally here. The hotel underwent its first phase of renovations and is all set to welcome guests from July 10 onwards. The closure of the hotel was first announced in September 2022 as part of its 50th-anniversary celebrations.
The reopening will happen in stages, with the newly renovated Terrace Wing being the first to open. This wing boasts 292 rooms, each thoughtfully designed with nature-inspired elements and lush landscaping. The rooms, ranging from 452 sq ft to the opulent 2,713 sq ft presidential suites, also offer direct garden access, providing a serene and tranquil experience for guests.
Only a month later, in August, the poolside restaurant Oasis will reopen, followed by the popular Italian eatery Pete’s Place in September. In October, the hotel will launch its latest addition, Le Pristine Singapore, a collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Sergio Herman. This new restaurant will replace the beloved Mezza9 and will be accompanied by a refreshed Martini Bar, offering guests a plethora of dining options to choose from.
While the Terrace Wing is ready to receive guests, the Grand Wing is still undergoing refurbishments and is expected to reopen in 2025. When completed, the overall capacity of the hotel will increase to 699 rooms, along with other facilities such as a wellness hub and a new Grand Club Lounge. With its prime location, luxurious rooms and dining options, the newly transformed Grand Hyatt Singapore is set to cater to the needs of discerning travelers from around the world.
