More facilities to open at Pasir Ris Mall
The newly opened Pasir Ris Mall at 7 Pasir Ris Central had its grand opening on July 22, after a soft opening on June 12. The ceremony was attended by Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office Desmond Tan, and Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Sharael Taha.
The mall, developed by Allgreen Properties and Kerry Properties, offers over 150 retail options such as the food court Cantine by Kopitiam, Cold Storage supermarket, and MindChamps Preschool. It is part of an integrated development, along with the 487-unit condo Pasir Ris 8.

More facilities are expected to open in and around the mall within the next year, including a polyclinic which is set to open by the end of 2024. The mall is also conveniently linked to a new bus interchange that will be completed in 2025, as part of the Pasir Ris Integrated Transport Hub which will also feature the upcoming Cross Island MRT Line.
The sheltered communal space, Town Plaza, is set to be completed by 2026 while the Central Greenway pathway will be completed in stages, eventually connecting the mall to Pasir Ris Park and the beach. Furthermore, to cater to this new connection, Pasir Ris Mall will be outfitted with end-of-trip facilities such as bicycle parking and shower areas.
At the grand opening, Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean mentioned that the mall and its adjacent amenities are part of the rejuvenation plans for Pasir Ris, which were launched in 2017. He also stated that all the original precincts in the area have either undergone or are in the process of renewal, including lift replacement works and HDB’s Home Improvement Programme.
In addition, the mall boasts green features such as energy-efficient building materials and lighting, and mandatory green leases for tenants, earning it the BCA Green Mark Platinum Award. Kuok Khoon Ean, chairman of Kuok Group and Allgreen Properties, shared that green leases are agreements between landlords and tenants that outline environmental objectives for improving, managing, and occupying a building sustainably.
