Singhaiyi Appoints Nakano Singapore Main Contractor Sora

SingHaiyi, a leading property developer, has announced the appointment of Nakano Singapore as the main contractor for its latest development, Sora. The groundbreaking ceremony was held at the project’s site on April 29.
Located along Yuan Ching Road, facing Jurong Lake Gardens, Sora is a 440-unit condo that sits on a 99-year leasehold site of 191,978 sq ft. The land was acquired en bloc by a consortium led by SingHaiyi for $260 million in July 2020. SingHaiyi and Chip Eng Seng (now part of SingHaiyi) hold a combined 70% stake in the joint venture, while KSH Holdings and Ho Lee Group hold the remaining 30%.
According to SingHaiyi’s group CEO Raymond Chia, Sora will offer its residents a premium lifestyle with a perfect balance of nature and recreation. He also mentioned that the project is in line with the transformation of Jurong Lake District into an integrated hub for “live-work-play-learn”.
Sora marks the first collaboration between SingHaiyi and Nakano Singapore. Kutsuzawa Yoichi, managing director of Nakano Singapore, expressed excitement about this partnership, stating that both companies share a common goal of creating high-quality developments for their clients and consumers.
