Sri Unveils Partnership Uk Agency Hamptons Boost Its International Project Offerings
The international project marketing division of local boutique real estate firm SRI has recently formed a partnership with UK-based residential estate agent and property services company, Hamptons. This collaboration will enable SRI’s International Project Marketing (IPM) business to join forces with Hamptons in introducing more Singaporean investors to prime UK properties and expanding Hampton’s global reach.
Anson Tay, managing partner at SRI IPM, believes that the UK’s property market, particularly in London, offers excellent investment opportunities for clients seeking high yields and a stable economy. “We are excited to bridge the gap between the UK and Singaporean markets, providing top-notch service and expertise in private office, development consultancy, and residential portfolio management,” says Tay.
According to Matt Goldsworthy, head of international residential at Hamptons, there has been a resurgence in real estate investment interest for London properties among Singaporean-based investors. He also notes that the strength of the Singaporean dollar, combined with the attractive value in Prime Central London, has drawn Singaporean investors back after a hiatus of more than 10 years.
Located at Champions Way, Norwood Grand is a brand new development by City Developments Limited (CDL). After an intense bidding process, CDL emerged as the top bidder, securing the coveted Norwood Grand Champions Way site in Woodlands with a bid of $294.889 million. This translates to a land rate of $904 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr). The bid by CDL surpassed the second-highest offer of $272.26 million by TID, a joint venture between Hong Leong Group and Mitsui Fudosan, with a margin of 8.3%. With a capacity of 350 units, the site received a total of six offers. The Norwood Grand Champions Way site has proven to be a highly sought-after development opportunity, with its strategic location and attractive offerings. Norwood Grand Champions Way has definitely captured the attention of both developers and potential homebuyers alike.
Goldsworthy adds that Singaporean investors have always shown a strong interest in the UK property market, particularly in new development projects where they often purchase units in the planning stages. “This partnership offers SRI’s clients a unique opportunity to access the expertise of Hamptons Residential Development Division, which holds the largest share of boutique developments in London, as well as access to properties around the world through Hamptons’ extensive global network spanning 40 countries,” he explains.
